Field Coordinator
Job Description
Coordinate day-to-day field activities and ensure timely project implementation.
Supervise construction works and monitor progress according to approved drawings, specifications, and work schedules.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and clients regarding project execution.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
Verify work progress, measurements, and contractor performance.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
Ensure proper documentation of site activities, materials, and project records.
Identify site issues and recommend practical solutions to minimize delays.
Monitor compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
Attend coordination meetings and provide project updates to management.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.
Experience
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Govt./ Semi Govt./ Autonomous body, NGO
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
Diploma in Civil Engineering with extensive relevant experience may also be considered.
Additional Requirements
- Age 30 to 50 years
- Only Male
Experience in government infrastructure projects, commercial buildings, roads, bridges, ports, or donor-funded projects will be given preference.
Sound knowledge of construction methods, engineering drawings, BOQ, and project specifications.
Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and HSE standards.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently at remote project sites.
Willingness to travel and stay at project locations anywhere in Bangladesh.
