Job Description
DASCOH Foundation is a non-governmental organisation operating in Bangladesh since 1995 and complements and supplements Bangladesh’s national programs as a key non-state development partner in the country. DASCOH Foundation is currently implementing the Civil Society Leadership in Mobilizing for Better WASH (CLIMB) project in partnership with WaterAid Bangladesh. To support project implementation, DASCOH Foundation invites applications from qualified and motivated professionals for the position of Office Assistant.
An Office Assistant will provide logistical and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the project. S/he will also be responsible for the safeguarding of the assets and security of the office.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative, clerical, and logistical support for day-to-day project operations.
Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, training events, consultations, and field visits.
Maintain office files, registers, records, correspondence, and document archiving systems.
Support procurement, inventory management, and distribution of office supplies and project materials.
Ensure proper maintenance, safeguarding, and security of office equipment, furniture, and other project assets.
Assist in receiving, dispatching, photocopying, scanning, and filing project documents.
Support travel arrangements, vehicle coordination, and logistics for project staff and visitors.
Maintain office cleanliness and ensure a functional working environment.
Assist project staff in routine administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
Experience
- At least 2 years
Education
Minimum Secondary School Certificate (SSC).
Higher qualifications will be an advantage.
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 18 years
Experience in office support services such as file management, photocopying, documentation, and logistics support.
Basic understanding of office etiquette and administrative support functions.
Ability to assist in field and office-level logistics when required.
Honest, reliable, and physically fit for field travel and support work.
Basic literacy in Bangla; ability to understand simple instructions in English is an advantage.
Good behavior, discipline, and willingness to work as part of a team.
