Executive/Sr. Executive-PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control)
Job Description
Production Planning: Developing and maintaining production plans and schedules to meet production targets. Analyze production data to identify areas of improvement & efficiency. Implement & maintain production planning system & tools.
Inventory Control: Monitoring inventory levels, managing stock replenishment, and ensuring the availability of materials needed for production.
Capacity Planning: Analyzing and fulfilling capacity and resource requirements for production.
Material Requirements Planning: Forecasting materials needed for procurement and ensuring their timely availability.
Scheduling: Creating and handling orders, and scheduling production batches.
Coordination: Coordinating with various departments (e.g., Production, IE, Merchandising, Store) to optimize workflow and solve problems.
Problem Solving: Investigating production problems and working with other departments to find solutions.
Reporting: Preparing reports on production performance, inventory levels, production schedules, and other relevant data. Participate cross-functional meeting to discuss production planning and scheduling.
Continuous Improvement: Analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
Supplier Management: Monitoring raw material availability and ensuring timely deliveries.
Supply Chain Management: Ensuring the efficient movement of goods from supplier.
Quality Control: Monitoring quality of materials and finished products.
Experience
- At least 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
- Masters
