Job Description

  • Execute Flawless Deliveries: Coordinate and oversee the daily product delivery process, ensuring every invoice matches the correct seed quantity and type.

  • Uphold Quality Standards: Verify seed cartons, bags, and packets before loading to ensure all products comply with our strict quality standards as specified in the SOP.

  • Lead on-the-Ground Teams: By supervising and motivating warehouse and distribution workers to achieve daily goals for loading, unloading, and dispatching efficiently.

  • Enhance Operational Efficiency: By overseeing truck loading and unloading processes to reduce turnaround times and avoid product damage.

  • Ensure ISO Compliance and Documentation: Follow all procedures and documentation guidelines specified in the company’s ISO quality management system (e.g., ISO 9001) to maintain process consistency, ensure traceability, and facilitate ongoing improvement.

  • Ensure Accurate Record-keeping: By preparing and maintaining precise daily and periodic distribution reports, updating registers, and processing worker wage bills promptly.

  • Support Inventory Integrity: Proactively support inventory management by working with the inventory team to keep records accurate and current.

  • Foster Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Control, and Sales teams to ensure a seamless, integrated process from seed processing to final delivery.

  • Undertake Depot Management: Be ready to undertake temporary roles at different depots to supervise operations, guarantee prompt delivery, and uphold consistent standards outside the main processing center.

  • Liaise with Transport Partners: Act as the daily contact for truck drivers and third-party logistics providers to coordinate delivery schedules, deliver required documentation, and quickly address any transit issues.

Safeguarding responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Education

The candidate should have Diploma in Agriculture or any discipline with minimum 2nd class/ division or CGPA or equivalent result in all academic examinations. (Age, Education and Experience will be relaxed for the potential candidates)

Additional Requirements

  • Age At least 18 years
  • Required knowledge

Understanding of action planning, distribution logistics, and report writing. Proficiency in maintaining ERP, physical registers and basic records. Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System principles is a plus

Strong communication and team-working abilities. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset. Confidence and the ability to work independently.
