We are seeking a skilled, dedicated, and compassionate Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team and provide comprehensive physiotherapy and rehabilitation services for patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopedic, sports injury, post-operative, and chronic pain conditions.
The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical assessment skills, hands-on experience in physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and a commitment to improving patients' functional independence and quality of life through evidence-based treatment approaches.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on clinical findings and physician referrals.
Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, gait training, posture correction, and functional rehabilitation.
Assess, monitor, and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment goals, home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, posture correction, and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, progress reports, and clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
Collaborate closely with Orthopedic Consultants, Neurologists, Rehabilitation Physicians, Sports Medicine Specialists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Monitor patient safety throughout treatment sessions and promptly respond to any changes in patient condition.
Operate, maintain, and ensure the safe use of physiotherapy equipment and rehabilitation devices according to established protocols.
Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, ethical standards, and quality assurance guidelines in all clinical practices.
Participate in patient education programs, rehabilitation planning, and departmental quality improvement initiatives.
Stay updated with the latest advancements, clinical guidelines, and evidence-based practices in physiotherapy and rehabilitation medicine through continuous professional development.
Experience
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Diagnostic Centre
Education
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)
Postgraduate training, diploma, or certification in Physiotherapy/Rehabilitation will be considered an added advantage.
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 18 years
Sound knowledge of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurological, sports injury, geriatric, and post-operative rehabilitation.
Proficiency in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, electrotherapy, gait training, and functional rehabilitation.
Strong clinical reasoning, patient assessment, and treatment planning skills.
Ability to accurately evaluate patients' conditions and develop individualized rehabilitation programs.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Familiarity with infection prevention, patient safety protocols, and quality healthcare standards.
Proficient in using physiotherapy equipment and rehabilitation devices safely and effectively.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR/HIS) systems, will be an advantage.
