Assistant Manager, Merchandising (Sweater Division)
Job Description
Manage product development from sampling to order confirmation.
Prepare accurate costing and negotiate prices with buyers.
Independently handle buyer accounts and maintain strong customer relationships.
Follow up on production activities to ensure on-time shipment.
Coordinate with sourcing, planning, production, quality, and commercial teams.
Monitor critical path and proactively resolve production-related issues.
Ensure proper file handover to the Planning Team for effective production scheduling.
Track order status and provide regular updates to management.
Achieve annual business targets in terms of order quantity, FOB value, and profitability.
Experience
- 7 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Buying House, Sweater Industry
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Any Discipline, Textile Engineering is preferred
Additional Requirements
- Age 30 to 35 years
Candidates must have experience in the Sweater Industry/ Sewater Merchandising.
Candidates having 02 - 03 years of experience as an Assistant Manager will get preference.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Strong customer management and business development capability.
Proven track record of delivering results and meeting business objectives.
