Duty Station: Head Office in Gulshan, Dhaka with occasional field visits as per project needs.
Job Description: As an AI/ML Engineer at mPower, you will join our core engineering team to build, optimize, and maintain production-ready machine learning solutions across our enterprise portfolio. Your work will focus on expanding our core capabilities in Natural Language Processing (NLP), predictive modeling, and data-driven automation. This role is ideal for a versatile engineer who thrives on solving complex language and structural data challenges in a low-profile, high-impact commercial environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Fine-tune language and predictive models using custom datasets.

• Optimize algorithms to process mixed language unstructured data pipelines.

• Build and query graph-structured databases, relational networks, and vector repositories.

• Construct clean, automated backend pipelines for multi-modal inputs.

• Design, optimize, manage, secure bidirectional API to link AI/ML models with active enterprise solutions.

• Run regular audits using semantic scoring metrics to track factual consistency and prevent system hallucinations.

• Conduct technical stress testing to verify compliance.

• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback and mentor junior team members.

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): IT Enabled Service, NGO

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science, Data Science
• Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science, Data Science

• Bachelor’s/Master`s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.

• Age At least 24 years

• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing, testing, and shipping production-level machine learning models or NLP pipelines.

• Experience setting up local computational workloads or server-side model deployment will be preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Python and standard ML frameworks.

• Solid experience with large language models, Transformers, and fine-tuning.

• Familiarity with relational databases, vector databases, and graph frameworks.

• Experience in managing bilingual data pipelines, tokenization, and semantics.
