Assistant Executive/Executive (Catering/perishable item)
Job Description
Conduct daily visits to wholesale food markets (e.g., Karwan Bazar, Maulavi bazar, Jatrabari etc) to physically inspect quality and track real-time commodity prices.
Collect price quotations and samples from fresh vegetable, meat, poultry, and dairy vendors under the guidance of the reporting Manager.
Assist in preparing Comparative Statements (CS) by compiling daily market rates to ensure the most cost-effective sourcing.
Coordinate directly with the production and kitchen staff daily to receive, verify, and finalize raw food requisition lists.
Supervise the receiving process at the ICCB store, ensuring that delivered perishable goods exactly match ordered weights and quality standards.
Monitor cold-chain transport and storage conditions to minimize transit damage or temperature-induced spoilage.
Process and double-check vendor bills against store receiving vouchers to ensure flawless documentation for final payment clearance.
Input daily procurement data, purchase orders, and requisitions accurately into the company ERP system.
Maintain emergency supplier backups to address sudden, last-minute catering demands for large-scale mega events.
Experience
- At least 4 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Convention center, Party/ Community Center
Education
- Bachelor of Business Studies (Pass)
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Bachelor of Commerce (Pass)
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 25 years
- Only Male
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, or Food Science.
Candidates with a PGD-SCM or ongoing supply chain certifications will get immediate preference.
