Depot In Charge
Job Description
Oversee overall depot operations, administration, inventory management, and distribution activities.
Ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of products to dealers and distributors.
Supervise depot staff, transport operations, and daily operational activities.
Maintain proper inventory control, stock accuracy, and warehouse housekeeping.
Ensure safety, security, compliance, and smooth functioning of the depot.
Monitor vehicle utilization, maintenance, and transportation efficiency.
Coordinate with Head Office regarding delivery, inventory, and operational matters.
Handle dealer/distributor concerns and maintain strong business relationships.
Conduct regular monitoring, reporting, audits, and performance evaluations.
Implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize depot resources.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
Experience
- 5 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies, Group of Companies, Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Cement Industry, Steel, Logistics Startup, Delivery Services Startup
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
