Equipment Maintenance: Conducts daily and routine inspections of fire doors, fire pumps, hydrant systems, and fire extinguishers.
Drills and Training: Regularly conducts in-house fire drills, emergency evacuation training, and firefighting workshops for workers and security staff.
Compliance & Audits: Acts as the primary liaison during FSCD and buyer safety audits, ensuring the factory meets all safety regulations.
Emergency Response: Leads the factory`s emergency response team to protect lives, minimize property damage, and execute safe evacuations during alarms. ]Education and Certification Requirements
Basic Education: Minimum SSC (Secondary School Certificate) or HSC. Diplomas or Bachelor’s degrees (especially in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) are preferred for higher-level officer roles.
Mandatory Certification: A formal 6-month Fire Safety Manager or Technician course issued by the Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense (FSCD) is strictly required by most factories.
Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with local labor laws, the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), and buyer compliance standards (e.g., RSC, Accord, or Alliance guidelines).
Experience

Education
- SSC
- HSC
Fire related certificate will add value.
