Branch Manager

Job Location: Dhaka & Surrounding Areas, South Bengal, Mymensingh Region, Sylhet Surrounding Areas.

Job Context:

Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) is looking for accomplished banking leaders to lead our branches across Bangladesh. As a Branch Manager, you will serve as the chief executive of the branch, responsible for driving sustainable business growth, fostering a high-performance culture, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring excellence in governance, compliance, and operational execution.

This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in business development, people leadership, and strategic decision-making.

• Provide strategic leadership to achieve the branch's business, financial, and operational objectives in alignment with the Bank's vision and strategy.

• Drive sustainable growth across deposits, lending, CASA, wealth, SME, and other business portfolios while ensuring profitability and prudent risk management.

• Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing team through effective leadership, performance management, succession planning, and capability development.

• Develop and execute local market strategies to expand the Bank's customer base and strengthen relationships with high-value individuals, businesses, and institutional clients.

• Champion exceptional customer experience by fostering a service excellence culture and delivering innovative financial solutions.

• Ensure robust governance by maintaining full compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, AML/CFT requirements, internal policies, audit standards, and risk management frameworks.

• Foster strong collaboration with internal stakeholders to deliver seamless customer solutions and operational excellence.

• Represent the Bank within the local business community, building strategic partnerships and enhancing MTB's brand presence.

• Monitor business performance through data-driven decision-making, proactively identifying opportunities and implementing improvement initiatives.

• At least 12 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

• Bachelor/Honors

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline from a reputed university.

• No third division/class or equivalent CGPA is allowed at any stage of the academic career.

• Preferably completed Banking Diploma courses (JAIBB & AIBB)

• Age At least 24 years
