Sr. AGM / DGM (Production) - Spinning Mills

Job Context:

Ahmed Group Textile Division, one of the leading textile conglomerates in Bangladesh, is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Sr. AGM/DGM (Production) for our Spinning Mill. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production, maintaining high-quality standards, and managing operational efficiency to meet company objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the entire production operation of the spinning mill.

• Report directly to the Unit Head and provide strategic support in planning, executing, and monitoring all production-related activities.

• Lead and manage production teams, including managers, supervisors, and operators, ensuring proper manpower deployment, skill development, discipline, and performance management.

• Ensure uninterrupted production flow, achieving maximum output with optimum quality.

• Manage manpower effectively and ensure availability of skilled operators.

• Monitor and control raw material warehouses, ensuring proper storage and inventory management.

• Maintain operational efficiency for processing Cotton, PC, CVC, and other blended yarns.

• Provide technical guidance on spinning machinery, maintenance, and production processes.

• Coordinate with the Quality Department to ensure customer specifications are met.

• Act as a team leader during emergencies and ensure quick problem resolution.

• Prepare and present regular production reports and MIS updates to management.

• Participate in customer visits and maintain strong client relationships.

• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Textile, Spinning

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

• Age 35 to 45 years
• Only Male

• Operational knowledge on Cotton, PC, CVC etc.        

• Self-motivated and self-organized with a positive attitude.        

• Good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills (oral & written) in English.        

• Sound Computer knowledge in E-mail, Internet, MS-word and excel is a must.        

• Report producing for management and MIS·        

• Technical knowledge in related machines and production process.        

• Able to work under pressure, team Work & negotiation Skill.       

• Managing ability with problem solution & analytically skills.

• Good knowledge in Quality Department.
