Job Description

Fashion Step Group is expanding its Printing & Embroidery Operations and is looking for a highly experienced, technically strong, and execution-driven Manager to lead end-to-end production, planning, quality, and operational excellence across all printing and embroidery facilities.

This leadership role is designed for professionals with proven expertise in garment embellishment, production planning, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination to ensure superior quality, on-time delivery, and maximum operational efficiency.

Position Overview

The Manager (Printing & Embroidery) will take full ownership of planning, production execution, capacity utilization, quality assurance, and delivery performance across all printing and embroidery operations.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of printing and embroidery technologies, production planning, lean manufacturing, quality systems, and buyer compliance to support fast-fashion manufacturing with consistent excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end printing and embroidery to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on capacity, shipment priorities, and T&A
  • Monitor capacity utilization, line balancing, machine efficiency, and overall productivity
  • Ensure technical accuracy in screen printing, pigment, reactive, discharge, puff, foil, silicone, heat transfer, digital printing, and embroidery processes
  • Supervise artwork approval, strike-off, sample development, color matching, embroidery digitizing, and bulk production readiness
  • Ensure compliance with buyer specifications, approved standards, and quality requirements
  • Optimize material consumption, reduce wastage, and improve operational cost efficiency
  • Lead preventive maintenance planning and ensure maximum machine availability
  • Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Planning, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to achieve on-time shipment
  • Analyze production KPIs, identify operational risks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, buyer audit requirements, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and operational SOPs
  • Lead, mentor, and develop production teams while fostering a high-performance culture

Experience

  • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Education

    • Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Engineering, Industrial Eng & Production
  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial & Production Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or a relevant discipline

Additional Requirements

  • Age At least 35 years
  • Only Male
  • 10+ years of proven experience in garment Printing & Embroidery, with significant leadership responsibility
  • Strong technical expertise in garment printing technologies, embroidery production, digitizing, color management, artwork development, and embellishment techniques
  • Hands-on experience in production planning, capacity planning, line balancing, IE concepts, and process optimization
  • Strong knowledge of printing chemicals, embroidery materials, quality control systems, and buyer compliance standards
  • Practical experience with ERP/MIS, production reporting, KPI management, and operational analytics
  • Proven leadership in managing large production teams within export-oriented RMG manufacturing
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
