Officer/ Senior Officer - Procurement

Job Purpose:

The Officer, Procurement is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to optimize cost, quality, and delivery, in alignment with overall business objectives. To ensure the procurement of a complete, competitive, and strategically aligned merchandise range that supports the company’s sales, gross margin, and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in the procurement activities like sourcing and purchasing of goods and services according to company policies.
• Prepare Comparative Statements (CS), Purchase Orders (PO), and other procurement documents using the ERP system.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services as per the agreed schedule.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Maintain and update procurement records, supplier databases, purchase history, and related documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
• Verify supplier invoices, delivery challans, and supporting documents before forwarding them to Finance for payment processing.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and company procedures throughout the procurement process.
• Receive, inspect, and coordinate the installation of procured assets at designated sites, including air conditioners (ACs), freezers, metal racks, and marketing materials, ensuring the correct quantity, quality, and specifications.
• Perform any other procurement-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

• At most 1 year
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Retail Store, Chain shop, Super store
• Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Engineering from a reputed university (preferred).

• Age 24 to 28 years
• Only Male

• Fluent in both written and spoken English is a must.
• Flexible to visit stores and warehouse.
• Strong analytical sense.
• Understand Bangladesh consumer trends and local products.
• Familiar with local promotion channels.
• Proficiency in office suite.
• Ability to multitask and manage timelines under tight project deadlines.
