Senior DevOps Engineer(Sky Soft Limited)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead infrastructure automation, deployment, reliability, and operational excellence initiatives for our broker-hosted Order Management System (OMS). The incumbent will play a critical role in ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and performance of production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable production infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- Manage and optimize Linux-based server environments.
- Monitor system health, availability, and performance across all environments.
- Implement infrastructure automation and configuration management practices.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity procedures.
- Perform capacity planning and infrastructure optimization activities.
- Ensure infrastructure and application security best practices are implemented.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and infrastructure-related issues.
- Prepare infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
- Mentor junior DevOps personnel and provide technical leadership.
Experience
- At least 4 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Software Company, IT Enabled Service
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology
Professional certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, or DevOps-related technologies.

Required Skills
Basic understanding of computer networks, operating systems, and software applications.
Preferred Skills
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and load balancing.
Excellent communication skills in both Bangla and English.
Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
Experience with Git-based version control systems and CI/CD platforms.
Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or equivalent.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Preferred Experience
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability production systems.
Experience in fintech, banking, capital market, or enterprise software environments.
Experience in managing production environments with strict uptime requirements.
