Assistant Manager- Store (Finish Fabrics)

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager – Store (Finish Fabrics) will take full responsibility for end-to-end fabric warehouse activities. The position requires a professional with deep technical domain knowledge of fabric management systems, standard warehouse operations (SOPs), and ERP systems to manage inventory accuracy, cross-functional dispatch timelines, and material integrity.

Job Description

1. Store Operations: Take full accountability for managing the entire daily operational activities of the finished fabrics store.

2. Inventory Control: Maintain meticulous, real-time records of all incoming and outgoing fabric batches using the company's ERP system. Strictly enforce and audit standard practices such as FIFO (First In, First Out).

3. Audit & Reconciliation: Conduct regular, structured stock checks and physical reconciliations to proactively prevent variances, damage, and pilferage.

4. Warehouse Organization: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and categorization to ensure all materials are easily identifiable and accessible.

5. Material Dispatch: Streamline internal logistics to process and issue fabric rolls or specific production batches to the Garments division strictly on time.

6. Cross-Functional Synergy: Work in close collaboration with Planning, Merchandising, Production, and Finance departments to ensure flawless daily operations.

7. Inbound & Processor Coordination: Supervise the loading, unloading, and precise physical inspection of all raw fabric deliveries. Efficiently arrange and oversee logistics for fabrics sent to and from external processors.

Requirements

• Education: Graduation from any reputed university

• Domain Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of fabric store systems and standard operating procedures (SOP).

• Software Skills: Excellent practical knowledge and skills in ERP systems and the MS Office package (specifically MS Excel).

• Communication: Fluent language proficiency in both Bangla and English.
