Supervisor
Job Description
Supervise daily lighter vessel operational activities and coordinate with vessel crews, jetty unloading teams.
Monitor cargo discharge operations.
Assist in maintaining vessel movement schedules and operational coordination.
Supervise routine maintenance, repair, cleaning, and inspection works of vessels, machinery, and equipment.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, machinery, spare parts, and operational equipment.
Identify operational or technical issues and report to the concerned person for necessary action.
Assist in troubleshooting minor onboard and operational problems during vessel operations.
Maintain operational records, maintenance logs, and daily activity reports.
Assist during emergency operational situations and vessel-related activities.
Support inventory monitoring of spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials.
Experience
- 2 to 4 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Shipping, Shipyard, Logistics Startup
Education
- HSC
- Diploma in Marine Engineering
Additional Requirements
- Age 25 to 35 years
- Only Male
Basic knowledge of vessel operations, maintenance procedures, and marine equipment.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage operational activities efficiently.Basic knowledge of reporting and MS Office applications will be an added advantage.
