General Technician - Plumbing (All Water & Sewerage Line)

The position forms part of the reactive and preventive sanitation team. The successful applicant secures the operational reliability of all hot/cold fresh water lines and grey/black water distribution paths across guest blocks, kitchen zones, and complex back-of-house areas.

• Perform planned preventative assessments across all local fresh water lines, PRV panels, and backflow preventers.

• Maintain kitchen grease management stations, clearing waste collection zones, and auditing main drainage pumps.

• Run fine adjustments, leak tests, and mechanical snags corrections across high-end guest room sanitary fittings.

• Partner with incoming utility contractors to review incoming water lines, check storage integrity, and run system chlorination cycles.

• Assist with updating accurate replacement component worksheets and plumbing asset registers for the Head of MEP.

• Inspect Showers, steam rooms, and changing areas.

• Monitor and maintain the water storage tanks.

• Ensure uninterrupted water supply across the property.

• Install and modify property’s plumbing and fixtures.

• Maintain fire, health, and environmental compliance requirements.

• Ensure compliance with local plumbing regulations.

Diploma in Plumbing Engineering or Plumbing Trade Certificate completed from a recognized educational institute.

• Age 25 to 55 years

• In-depth expertise in processing multiple pipe architectures including PPR, PVC, HDPE, and GI systems, utilizing standard jointing methods.

• Expert tracking capability over electronic auto-booster pump stations, pressure-reducing valves (PRV), and water loop balancing layouts.

• Clear awareness of deep grease trap maintenance protocols, main sewage pump management, and architectural stormwater drainage channels.

• Previous experience tracking construction snags, testing pressure parameters, and managing fixture handovers during property launches.

• Strong orientation toward high detail, ensuring flawless installation aesthetic accuracy within high-end guest bathrooms.

• On-call availability to resolve unexpected line breaks, severe blockages, or utility supply cutoffs affecting operations.
