Job Purpose
To provide strategic vision, executive leadership, and operational direction to the entire garments manufacturing unit. The CEO will drive business growth, maximize production efficiency, strengthen relationships with global buyers, and ensure maximum profitability for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Formulate and execute long-term corporate strategies to ensure business growth and market competitiveness.
Identify, pitch, and secure business with new international apparel brands and retail buyers.
Analyze global fashion and textile market trends to adapt the factory's production capabilities accordingly.
Promote the company's image as a high-quality, sustainable, and reliable garment manufacturer globally.
Oversee factory operations to ensure maximum line efficiency and production capacity utilization.
Monitor and streamline the end-to-end process from fabric sourcing to final garment shipment.
Implement lean manufacturing tools and automation to minimize waste and increase productivity.
Ensure strict quality control systems are maintained to achieve zero-defect shipments.
Hold full accountability for the company’s financial health, profit, and loss (P&L).
Implement strict cost-reduction strategies across raw material procurement, labor, and overheads.
Approve and monitor annual operational budgets, ensuring optimal return on investment (ROI).
Oversee strategic alliances with global fabric, yarn, and accessories suppliers.
Supervise commercial, banking, and LC (Letter of Credit) management for smooth import and export.
Ensure 100% adherence to international labor standards, factory safety, and compliance (e.g., BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, OEKO-TEX).
Drive environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, and chemical management standards as required by buyers.
Lead, evaluate, and mentor C-suite executives and Department Heads (Merchandising, Production, Finance, HR, Commercial).
Foster a highly motivated, KPI-driven, and safe work culture across the factory and head office.
Job Requirements
MBA / Masters from a reputable university. Graduation in Textile Engineering or Apparel Merchandising will be an added advantage.
15+ years of comprehensive experience in the RMG/Garments industry, with at least 5 years of proven track record in a top management position (CEO, COO, or Executive Director).
Deep understanding of garment production.
Strong negotiation, decision-making, and financial acumen with flawless verbal and written English communication skills.
