Officer - Production (Sewing / Cutting / Finishing)

Sewing Unit Operations

• Assist the team leader with routine tasks and submit daily activity reports to the line manager.

• Maximize manpower and equipment utilization; check hourly production and run line-by-line efficiency studies.

• Manage size-wise input and just-in-time accessories supply to secure timely shipments.

• Track input challans/output records, minimize rejections, and meet buyer quality standards.

• Flag major problems immediately and discuss operational issues in production meetings.

Cutting Unit Operations

• Oversee spreading, laying, fabric relaxation, marker making, and cutting machine operations.

• Check fabric plies, width, alignment, and ensure compliance with approved markers and consumption sheets.

• Keep cutting loss within targets and inspect cut panels for shape, size, and notch accuracy.

• Supervise bundling, numbering, and sorting for timely delivery to the sewing floor.

• Maintain records for output, consumption, and rejections while following safety, compliance, and PPE rules.

Finishing Unit Operations

• Supervise trimming, spot cleaning, ironing, folding, tagging, and packing operations.

• Match finishing, labeling, care instructions, and size sets exactly to buyer artwork and packing lists.

• Track hourly output reports, isolate defective garments, and prepare for inline/final QA inspections.

• Control packing assortments, ratios, and quantities for timely dispatch to the warehouse.

• Maintain floor safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards, and address floor problems with the line manager.

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Buying House, Group of Companies

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

• Age At least 25 years

• 2 to 3 years of solid experience as an Officer Production.

• Team building, enthusiastic, innovative and result oriented Keen knowledge about operation breakdown or machine layout.

• Strong knowledge about bottleneck point, line balancing, SMV efficiency and sample making.

• Ability to ensure quick changeover and analyze & assess product risks, critical operations, quality issues in advance before production.

• Willing to stay beside factory at own accord.

• Well conversant in MS-Office.
