Assistant Manager - Airport Operation
Job Description
Flight Operations & Regulatory Coordination
- Process landing and overflight permissions for non-scheduled flights through the relevant aviation authorities and POD system.
- Coordinate aircraft ground handling, parking, refueling, catering, crew support, and complete trip management services.
- Obtain departure clearances and file Air Traffic Control (ATC) flight plans.
- Coordinate immigration, customs, quarantine, and security clearances for arriving and departing flights.
- Liaise with Civil Aviation, Airport Authorities, Airlines, Ground Handling Agencies, Customs, Immigration, and other regulatory bodies.
Passenger & Customer Services
- Manage immigration facilitation and travel support for medical tourism patients.
- Coordinate patient transfers to international hospitals in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, India, and other destinations.
- Arrange immigration, baggage handling, security screening, and airport assistance for VIP, VVIP, and CIP passengers.
- Provide protocol services and escort VIP/VVIP passengers between the terminal and aircraft.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Airport Security & Pass Management
- Manage the issuance, renewal, and compliance of Security Passes (SEC Pass), D Passes, Temporary Passes, and other airport access permits for employees.
- Ensure adherence to airport security regulations and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with airport security departments regarding employee access and operational requirements.
Financial & Administrative Support
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department regarding foreign payment withdrawals and operational expenses.
- Monitor operational expenditures and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Maintain accurate operational records, permits, clearances, and documentation.
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, supervise, and develop airport operations personnel.
- Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate manpower coverage for operational requirements.
- Conduct training and performance evaluations for team members.
- Foster a culture of safety, compliance, professionalism, and customer service excellence.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with Civil Aviation Authority regulations, airport policies, customs regulations, and immigration requirements.
- Prepare operational reports, incident reports, and management updates.
- Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience
- At least 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Airline, GSA
Education
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Hospitality Management, Management
Experience dealing with Civil Aviation Authorities, Airport Operations, Customs, Immigration, and Ground Handling Agencies.
Strong knowledge of flight operations, airport regulations, aviation security procedures, and passenger facilitation services.

Availability to work on rotational shifts, weekends, public holidays, and emergency operational situations.
Frequent interaction with airport authorities, airline representatives, VIP customers, and international passengers.
