Executive - Land Legal Affairs
Job Description
- Handle and resolve government legal issues related to land matters.
- Draft, review, and vet land-related legal documents, agreements, notices, deeds, and correspondence in compliance with applicable laws.
- Ensure compliance with Bangladesh land laws, regulations, and government requirements.
- Liaise with government agencies, including land offices, sub-registrar offices, AC Land offices, DC offices, and other relevant authorities.
- Conduct legal due diligence and verification of land ownership, title documents, records of rights (ROR), mutation, and other land records.
- Support land acquisition, registration, transfer, mutation, and related legal processes.
- Monitor changes in land laws, regulations, and government policies and provide legal advice accordingly.
- Assist management in resolving land disputes, legal claims, and litigation matters.
- Coordinate with external lawyers, consultants, and government officials when required.
- Maintain proper records and documentation of all land-related legal activities.
- Prepare legal opinions and reports on land-related matters for management decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of Bangladesh land laws, property laws, registration laws, and related regulations.
- Excellent drafting and documentation skills for land-related legal matters.
- Ability to interpret and apply government laws and regulations relating to land issues.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Experience
- At least 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms, Law Firm, Real Estate
Education
- Bachelor of Law (Pass) in Law

- Age At least 25 years
The Executive – Land will be responsible for handling land-related legal matters, ensuring compliance with government land laws and regulations, coordinating with relevant government authorities, and preparing legal documentation related to land acquisition, ownership, transfer, mutation, registration, and other land-related issues. The role requires strong knowledge of Bangladesh land laws and practical experience working with legal professionals in the land sector.
Additional training or certification in land laws and property management will be considered an advantage.
Minimum 3 years of practical experience working with a renowned lawyer/law firm in Bangladesh, particularly in land and property-related legal matters.
Hands-on experience in dealing with government offices and authorities concerning land-related issues.
