Lab Technologist
Job Description
Perform and analyze tests in Biochemistry, Serology, Hematology, Microbiology, and Immunology using automated analyzers and ELISA, as required.
Collect, label, prepare, and process patient samples following standard laboratory protocols.Operate, monitor, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
Conduct regular calibration, quality control, and preventive maintenance of equipment to ensure reliability of test results
Maintain accurate records of test results, reagent usage, quality control logs, and equipment maintenance.
Troubleshoot any equipment or test-related issues to minimize delays in Testing.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols in the laboratory environment.
Maintain strict confidentiality and protect the integrity of patient data at all times.
Use laboratory information systems (LIS) to document, report, and communicate test results efficiently.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring reagent and supply levels and ensuring timely restocking.
Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs to uphold lab standards.
Stay updated with new laboratory techniques and procedures through ongoing training and professional Developments.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years

Education
- Diploma in Medical
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Technology or Laboratory Medicine from a recognized Institution.
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 23 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Diagnostic Centre,Hospital.
Excellent knowledge in Computer operation especially in MS word, Excel, online communication and browsing etc.
Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and emergency duties as assigned.
Good communication and teamwork skills.Commitment to patient care, accuracy, and ethical laboratory practise.
