Site Engineer - Civil

Location: Dhaka and Anywhere in Bangladesh as per Project Requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all construction activities at project sites to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Review, interpret, and implement architectural, structural, and MEP drawings accurately.
• Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, material estimations, and cost calculations for construction works.
• Monitor daily site progress and maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Plan and schedule manpower, materials, equipment, and construction activities to achieve project deadlines.
• Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues, proposing effective solutions when necessary.
• Verify measurements and prepare bills, work progress reports, and other project-related documentation.
• Ensure proper utilization of construction materials, machinery, and workforce to minimize wastage and maximize productivity.
• Monitor project costs and assist management in controlling project expenditures.
• Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with environmental and occupational health regulations.
• Attend project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and recommendations.
• Maintain discipline, transparency, and accountability at the project site.
• Protect company assets and ensure all project activities are carried out with the highest level of honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
• Be willing to work and travel anywhere in Bangladesh according to project requirements.

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Trading or Export/Import

• Diploma in Civil

• Age At least 30 years

• Excellent understanding of construction drawings and engineering principles.
• Good analytical, calculation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
