Assistant Professor (Civil)

• Conduct classes in Civil Engineering, with a primary focus on Structural Engineering, in accordance with the University`s rules and regulations;

• Prepare lessons plan and lecture materials, assignment writing etc.;

• Student counselling/proctorial responsibilities;

• May have to perform additional responsibilities of the department;

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University

• Number of Publication(s) Needed: 2

• Master Degree in the relevant field with at least three first classes/divisions or CGPA 3.00 throughout the academic career with three (3) years of active teaching experience as a Lecturer, two (2) publications in a peer-reviewed or index Journal or recognized edited books in which one (1) as the first author. Or,

• M Phil /Foreign Master’s degree (from North America, Europe or Far-east countries) along-with other requisite qualifications with two (2) years of active teaching experience as a Lecturer at the university level, two (2) publications in a peer-reviewed or index Journal or recognized edited books in which one (1) as the first author. Or,

• PhD along-with other requisite qualifications with one (1) year of active teaching experience as a Lecturer at the university level, one (1) publication as the first author in a peer-reviewed or index Journal or recognized edited books.

• For all the cases, there should be no third class/division throughout the academic career of the candidate.

• Age At least 30 years

• Salary Range: As per FU pay Scale
