Job Description
Maintain overall Import & Export related task
Ensure all coordination with internal & external stakeholders.
Ensure liaison with Government institutions & autonomous bodies, i.e. BEPZA, BGMEA, EPB, Financial Institutions, and CUSTOMS.
Prepare and organize all necessary local/Foreign export documentation.
Ensure acceptance and monitor payment maturity dates.
EPB Documentation Preparation.
Ensure certificates are properly issued. Against Export Documentation.
Prepare the necessary documents for insurance claims.
Ensure duplicate EXP Bill of Lading (BL): Check the Bill of Lading (BL) details for accuracy.
Collect the original BL as required. Maintain In-Bond/Ex-Bond register for Customs and Bonder.
Maintain necessary statements for the yearly customs audit.
Good knowledge of the Customs Act, EPZ procedure, Export/Import Policy, Bond formalities, and other related laws applicable for Export /Import.
Maintain all correspondence & Communication to the Customs, Bank, and C&F.
Prepare necessary statements and reports as per management’s requirements.
Preparing and processing import and export documentation according to customs and EPZ regulations, laws, or procedures.
Able to do any other work assigned by management.
Experience
- At least 7 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
Education
- Masters
