Senior DevOps & Full-Stack Engineer
Job Description
Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps
- Design, implement and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure.
- Work with AWS services such as EC2, ECS or App Runner, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, IAM, CloudWatch and managed Redis.
- Plan and execute application and database migrations to AWS.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Automate linting, type-checking, testing, building and deployment.
- Implement Docker-based development and production workflows.
- Manage development, staging and production environments.
- Implement secure secrets management and environment-level access controls.
- Establish infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform, AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
- Configure domain routing, SSL certificates, CDN caching and cache invalidation.
- Implement database backups, recovery procedures and disaster-recovery drills.
- Maintain rollback, blue/green and canary deployment procedures.
Full-Stack Engineering
- Contribute to Next.js, React, Node.js and TypeScript applications.
- Build and maintain backend APIs and microservices.
- Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, queues and background workers.
- Improve multi-tenant data isolation, authentication and role-based access control.
- Optimize application performance, API response times and database queries.
- Support catalog importing, product search, pricing, image-processing and background-job services.
- Review application architecture and recommend practical improvements.
- Assist with production debugging across frontend, backend, database and infrastructure layers.
Technical Leadership
- Lead a small team of full-stack and catalog-automation developers.
- Break business requirements into actionable technical tasks.
- Review code and enforce engineering standards.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Establish pull-request, testing and release practices.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture decisions and operational runbooks.
- Coordinate releases and ensure that rollback plans are prepared.
- Monitor delivery progress and communicate technical risks clearly.
- Promote secure, testable and maintainable engineering practices.
Reliability and Observability
- Implement structured logging, metrics, tracing and alerting.
- Work with OpenTelemetry and suitable monitoring platforms.
- Create dashboards for API health, queue backlogs, import failures and infrastructure usage.
- Investigate production incidents and prepare root-cause analyses.
- Improve system uptime, deployment reliability and recovery time.
- Identify infrastructure-cost optimization opportunities.
Experience
- At least 4 years
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
- Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.

- At least four years of professional software engineering, DevOps or cloud-infrastructure experience.
- Strong practical experience with AWS.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Nginx, networking, DNS and SSL.
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Experience building CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar tools.
- Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with Node.js and React or Next.js applications.
- Strong SQL and relational-database knowledge.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL administration and optimization.
- Understanding of API security, authentication, authorization and secrets management.
- Experience leading technical projects or mentoring developers.
- Strong troubleshooting and production-debugging ability.
- Experience with Terraform, AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
- Experience with Redis, BullMQ or other job queues.
- Experience with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch or Algolia.
- Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
- Experience with e-commerce or product-catalog platforms.
- Familiarity with Laravel or migration from legacy PHP applications.
- Knowledge of Playwright, Vitest and API contract testing.
- Experience with observability platforms and distributed tracing.
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals, CDN optimization and image delivery.
- Familiarity with security reviews, disaster recovery and SOC 2 readiness.
