Manager (SCM)
Job Description
▪ Plan, organize and manage end-to-end supply chain operations — procurement, strategic sourcing, local purchase, import, export, commercial, inventory, warehouse, logistics and distribution.
▪ Procure machinery, capital equipment, spare parts, raw materials, chemicals and packaging for all departments of Madina Group — with particular strength in heavy machinery for the Polymer (MPIL) and Maritime (MML) operations.
▪ Handle local and international procurement, L/C management, shipping documentation, customs clearance, bonded-warehouse operations and banking coordination.
▪ Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and long-term supply agreements to secure the best total value for the Group.
▪ Drive demand forecasting, material planning (MRP), stock optimization and supplier evaluation.
▪ Establish and enforce SCM policies, SOPs, KPIs and internal controls, and lead ERP-based, data-driven operations.
▪ Coordinate with production, engineering, sales, finance, commercial and project teams for uninterrupted supply.
▪ Own procurement of production machinery, moulds, spares and raw materials for the Polymer plant, ensuring continuity of manufacturing.
▪ Analyze supply-chain performance and report procurement savings, inventory status, supplier performance and logistics cost to management.
▪ Lead, supervise and develop the SCM team to achieve departmental targets.
Experience
- 6 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Trading or Export/Import, Shipping, Real Estate, Group of Companies, Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Cement Industry, Developer, Shopping mall
Education
- Masters
in any discipline/Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
Professional certification (CSCP, CIPS, CPSM, CPM or equivalent) will be an added advantage.

Import expertise
Command of international sourcing, Incoterms, L/C, customs, VAT and trade compliance.
Sourcing & local-purchase mastery.
Able to source globally and buy locally at the right cost, quality and lead time.
Machinery procurement
proven capability to procure machinery for every department of Madina Group, especially heavy machinery for Polymer (MPIL) and Maritime (MML).
Leadership & governance
Able to lead, mentor and govern teams across multiple business units.
Board-level judgement
Able to guide and advise the Board of Directors toward sound, well-informed decisions.
Integrity & neutrality
Remains strictly unbiased toward suppliers; awards business on merit, not favoritism.
Professionalism
Stays clear of office politics and maintains a fair, transparent, results-focused working style.
6–10 years of relevant Supply Chain experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
Hands-on experience in a manufacturing / diversified group of companies; exposure to polymer, plastic or heavy-industry procurement is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of procurement, import/export, customs, VAT, Incoterms, L/C management and contract negotiation.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent) and strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
