The Opportunity: The Manager– Medical Logistics is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and management of the pharmaceutical supply chain, medical warehouse, diagnostics, laboratory supplies, and medical equipment logistics for the 67-bed SCI Maternal & Child Health (MCH) Hospital and affiliated Primary Health Care Centres (PHCCs), Health Posts, and implementing partners.
The position ensures uninterrupted availability of quality-assured medicines, vaccines, diagnostics, laboratory commodities, nutrition supplies, medical consumables, and emergency health kits through efficient forecasting, procurement planning, inventory management, and distribution systems. The post-holder ensures compliance with SCI policies, Bangladesh National Drug Policy, Good Distribution Practices (GDP), WHO standards, donor requirements, and humanitarian supply chain principles.
The Manager provides technical leadership to SCI and partner teams, strengthens pharmaceutical governance, and ensures safe, rational, and cost-effective use of medicines across all supported health facilities.
Contract Type: Regular Fixed Term till 31st December 2027

Experience

  • 7 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

Education

  • Master’s degree in pharmacy, medical Supply Chain Management or a related field.

  • Professional certification in medical Supply Chain is desirable.

Additional Requirements

  • Age At least 30 years
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in pharmaceutical supply chain or medical logistics. At least 5 years managing medical logistics in hospitals or humanitarian health program.

  • Experience managing implementing partners

  • Experience with electronic inventory systems.

  • Experience in emergency response and humanitarian supply chains.
