Mechanical Maintenance Manager - Spinning
Job Description
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Design and execute daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans for all spinning machinery (Blow Room, Carding, Comber, Simplex, Ring Frame, Auto Cone, etc.) to prevent sudden breakdown, quality faults etc.
Breakdown Management: Lead the technical team to troubleshoot and repair machines rapidly during unexpected failures to keep line downtime to a minimum.
Cots Buffing and Card Clothing: Oversee specialized routine maintenance processes critical to spinning, such as grinding, wire mounting, and cots buffing, which directly impact yarn quality.
Inventory Control: Forecast, track, and manage the inventory of critical mechanical and electrical spare parts to ensure immediate availability without overstocking.
Power and Utility Systems: Oversee the smooth operation and maintenance of secondary plant utilities, including captive power plants (gas/diesel generators), air compressors (vital for pneumatic systems in modern spinning), humidification plants (essential for controlling moisture and yarn strength), and HVAC systems.
Experience
- At least 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Spinning
Education
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
