Engineer–Silo Operation, Store, Meghna Noodles & Biscuit Ltd.
Job Description
Operate, monitor, and maintain silo systems, including silos, hoppers, blowers, vibro-shifters, and associated equipment.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of silo machinery according to maintenance schedules.
Troubleshoot PLC-based automation systems and industrial control equipment.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, and technical documentation.
Assist in the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
Perform calibration and maintenance of automation instruments and electrical equipment.
Monitor PLC, HMI, SCADA, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP-based control systems.
Prepare maintenance reports, technical documentation, and operational records.
Ensure compliance with machine safety standards and company policies.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
Stay updated with the latest automation technologies and industry best practices.
Experience
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Group of Companies
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 29 years
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of silo operation and maintenance.Knowledge of PLC programming is mandatory.
Certification in PLC Programming, Industrial Automation, or Industrial Control Systems will be considered an added advantage.
