Pharmacist

Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with physicians` orders.

Review prescriptions for completeness, accuracy, dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.

Provide medication counseling and educate patients on proper drug usage, dosage, storage, and possible side effects.

Maintain accurate dispensing records and pharmacy documentation.

Ensure compliance with Bangladesh pharmacy regulations, hospital policies, and accreditation standards.

Monitor medication inventory, expiry dates, stock levels, and storage conditions.

Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related issues.

Participate in medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Ensure proper handling and documentation of narcotic and controlled medications.

Assist in formulary management and medication procurement activities.

Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or hospital management.
