Radio Communication Engineer (TETRA & DMR)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Radio Communication Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of professional radio communication systems, with a strong focus on TETRA and DMR technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and commission TETRA and DMR radio communication systems.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of radio infrastructure.

• Diagnose and resolve faults related to base stations, repeaters, dispatch consoles, IP networking, and subscriber radios.

• Conduct RF site surveys, coverage analysis, and system optimization.

• Configure portable, mobile, and fixed radio terminals.

• Integrate radio systems with IP networks, dispatch systems, voice recording systems, and third-party applications.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, as-built drawings, and maintenance records.

• Provide technical support, user training, and after-sales service.

• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and project teams during implementation.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.

• 3 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): IT Enabled Service, Security Service

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication

• Bachelor`s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.

• Age At least 26 years

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in professional radio communication systems.

• Proven experience working with TETRA and DMR systems.

• Strong knowledge of RF engineering principles, antennas, feeders, duplexers, combiners, and propagation.

• Experience with IP networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing, VPN).

• Familiarity with radio programming software and diagnostic tools.

• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and network diagrams.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Additional Skills

• Knowledge of microwave transmission systems.

• Experience with fiber optic connectivity.

• Familiarity with Linux and Windows Server environments.

• Understanding of network cybersecurity for mission-critical communication systems.

• Willingness to travel to project sites throughout Bangladesh.
