Head of Key Accounts & Ocean Freight

Responsibilities as Ocean Freight Head:

• Oversee Ocean Freight Export & Import operations, including cross-border logistics, warehousing, carrier management, and special cargo movements, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.

• Manage the Ocean Freight budget, P&L, carrier procurement, trade lane development, and negotiate competitive rates and service agreements with carriers and partners.

• Drive business growth by supporting RFQs, expanding the customer base, developing trade lanes, and collaborating with the sales team to secure new opportunities.

• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders while leading the team, improving processes, and enhancing operational performance.

Responsibilities as Key Accounts Head:

• Build and strengthen relationships with key accounts through regular reviews, issue resolution, and value-added logistics solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

• Drive business growth by securing new opportunities within existing and prospective accounts while achieving sales targets and strategic objectives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized logistics solutions and prepare proposals, pricing, and contracts for customers.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance to refine strategies and achieve business objectives.

• 5 to 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies, Freight forwarding

BBA/MBA in Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or any related discipline
