Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef and senior chefs in preparing and cooking meals according to the standard recipes.
- Wash, peel, cut, chop, and prepare vegetables, fruits, meat, seafood, and other ingredients.
- Prepare basic dishes, sauces, soups, salads, desserts, and side dishes as instructed.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to the hotel's quality and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, workstations, equipment, and utensils.
- Follow food safety, and personal hygiene regulations at all times.
- Store food items properly and ensure correct stock rotation.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing food supplies and kitchen inventory.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any faults or maintenance issues.
- Support chefs during breakfast, lunch, dinner, buffet, and special events.
- Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.
- Wash kitchen utensils, cookware, and maintain a clean working environment.
- Work as part of the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and service of meals.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.
Terms & Conditions:
· Duty: 8 hours per day, 6 days a week.
Experience
- At least 1 year

- Age 22 to 40 years
- Skills & Requirements
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel or resort environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or restaurant kitchen is preferred.
- Must be fluent in English.
