Teacher - Biology (Senior Section) Grade 8 to 10

Guidance International School (GIS), a leading English Medium School in Bangladesh, is inviting applications from qualified, enthusiastic, and committed professionals for the following positions:

Job Responsibilities

• Teach Biology in the Senior Section following the Cambridge Curriculum.

• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and examination materials.

• Conduct laboratory practical sessions while maintaining laboratory safety standards.

• Monitor student progress and provide academic support.

• Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and school activities.

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): School

• Master`s Degree (M.Sc.) in Biology or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.

• O & A Level educational background will be considered an advantage.

• Cambridge Professional Development qualifications will receive preference.

• Age At least 25 years

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a reputed English Medium School.

• Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE/O Level Biology is mandatory.

• Experience in conducting Biology practical classes and laboratory management will be preferred.

Requirements

• Excellent command of spoken and written English.

• Strong classroom management skills.

• Sound knowledge of the Cambridge Curriculum.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and educational technology.

• Passion for student learning and professional development.
