Project Manager (Construction)

Lead and supervise construction projects from commencement to handover.

Prepare, monitor, and update project schedules using industry-standard planning methods

Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, plumbing, and MEP consultants to resolve design and site issues

Ensure cnstruction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, RAJUK regulations, BNBC, and relevant standards.

Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management

Plan manpower, equipment, and material requirements to avoid delays.

Manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring quality workmanship and timely execution

Review requisitions, contractor bills, work orders, BOQs, variation orders, and project expenditures

Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality control procedures are implemented

Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and cost overruns.

Coordinate procurement activities with the purchasing department

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.

Attend client, consultant, and management meetings and maintain proper project documentation.

Monitor project budgets and recommend cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Ensure timely project completion and successful client handover.

PMP certification or equivalent project management certification will give an added advantage.

Familiarity with ERP or project management software is preferred.

Excellent knowledge of RAJUK Rules, BNBC, and Bangladesh construction practices.

Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, budgeting, billing, and contract administration.

Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera for project planning.

Strong command of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.

Strong knowledge of RCC construction, finishing works, MEP coordination, and project management.
