Job Context

HEYINZ Sourcing BD is a leading apparel sourcing and manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality products to global fashion brands and retailers. The Quality Assurance (Knit & Woven) Executive will be responsible for ensuring that all garments are produced according to buyer specifications, company SOPs, and international quality standards.

The incumbent will work closely with factories, merchandising teams, production personnel, and buyers to monitor every stage of the manufacturing process—from fabric inspection to final shipment. The position requires strong technical knowledge of knit and woven garments, quality management systems, production processes, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure on-time delivery with the highest level of product quality.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor the entire production process from raw material inspection to final shipment to ensure compliance with buyer requirements and HEYINZ SOPs.

  • Conduct fabric, trims, accessories, and workmanship inspections before production approval.

  • Review PP Sample, Size Set Sample, TOP Sample, and ensure production follows approved standards.

  • Perform daily inline inspections and provide corrective actions to minimize defects during production.

  • Verify garment measurements, workmanship, sewing quality, print, embroidery, washing, and finishing according to approved specifications.

  • Ensure all factories maintain production quality standards, process controls, and compliance requirements.

  • Conduct risk assessments before production and implement preventive measures to avoid quality issues.

  • Monitor fabric shade, GSM, shrinkage, color fastness, and physical test requirements.

  • Verify cutting quality, marker efficiency, fabric relaxation, panel matching, and bundle control.

  • Ensure machine settings, line layout, and production methods meet approved standards.

  • Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Technical, and Compliance teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.

  • Conduct regular factory audits and monitor factory quality performance.

  • Review quality reports, inspection records, and corrective action plans.

  • Conduct Pre-Production Meetings (PPM) and ensure all technical requirements are clearly understood by factory personnel.

  • Perform inline, midline, pre-final, and final inspections according to AQL standards.

  • Approve shipment only after confirming compliance with buyer specifications and quality requirements.

  • Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Maintain all quality documentation, inspection reports, and production records accurately.

  • Train factory QC teams on buyer requirements, quality standards, and HEYINZ quality procedures.

  • Monitor production timelines and immediately escalate any quality or delivery risks to management.

  • Ensure all garments pass metal detection, needle control, safety requirements, and buyer compliance standards before shipment.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain confidentiality of buyer information, product development, and company procedures.

  • Perform any additional quality assurance responsibilities assigned by management.

Experience

  • 5 to 6 years
