Manager - PPC & Outsourcing
Job Description
Lead Production planning and scheduling based on sales trends and market demand while optimizing manufacturing efficiency and costs.
Monitoring TAT & adjusting schedules as needed to respond to any changes in demand or production capacity.
Establishing/Negotiating with subcontractors, suppliers & vendors to ensure fair terms and mutual understanding of obligations.
Establishing trust and effective communication with subcontractors to ensure successful outsourcing projects.
Ensuring effective communication between production/subcontractor teams and management to align on priorities and targets.
Overseeing the completion of outsourced work on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
Evaluating the performance of external stakeholders and ensuring they meet their contractual obligations.
Leveraging the expertise and resources of subcontractors to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Coordinating with logistics and warehousing to ensure timely dispatch and storage of products.
Monitor inventory levels and manage raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstock.
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, quality control, maintenance, sales, and R&D to ensure smooth production flow.
Prepare and present reports to senior management and track KPIs such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, and resource utilization to prepare strategic decisions.
Manage production planning staff, provide guidance, training and mentorship and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Implement and manage production planning software and data analysis tools to enhance visibility, control and efficiency of production operations.
Train, Motivate and Develop subordinates.
Experience
- 8 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Multinational Companies, Cosmetics/Toiletries/Personal Care, Handicraft, Boutique/ Fashion, Cap Manufacturing
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
B.Sc. in Engineering (Industrial, Industrial & Production, Textile, Chemical, Leather, Metallurgical, or Glass & Ceramics Engineering) is highly preferred.
Graduates from BUET/KUET/CUET/SUST/JUST/BUTEX/ Government Textile Engineering College reputable public universities are strongly preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Age 32 to 45 years
- Only Male
08 - 10 years experience in planning, outsourcing or subcontract manufacturing, especially in MNC, Garment or renowned Group of companies.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
Must have excellent oral & written communication skills in English. [Mandatory]
Must have interest in working with small subcontractors spread all over the country, especially in rural areas.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/SAP/IBM business solutions.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing/operations management and production planning & control.
