Job Description

Job Context

The Head of Privilege Banking will lead MTB’s Privilege Banking function, which serves high net worth clients. The role is responsible for proposition development, portfolio growth, service quality, and governance across Privilege Centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall supervision of the Privilege Banking program and drive annual business targets.

  • Develop and introduce new propositions for Privilege clients to ensure competitiveness in the market.

  • Support Privilege Centers in acquiring new clients and growing portfolio value.

  • Allocate / assign client portfolios across different Privilege Centers.

  • Lead due diligence exercises on Privilege clients and manage audits of the Privilege Banking function.

  • Monitor and track performance of Privilege Relationship Managers, Customer Managers, and the overall Privilege Banking portfolio.

  • Lead, manage, and monitor partnership alliances relevant to Privilege Banking.

Experience

  • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

Education

    • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from a UGC-approved university.

  • No third division/class or equivalent CGPA at any stage of the academic career.

  • Preferably completed Banking Diploma courses (JAIBB & AIBB)

Additional Requirements

  • Age At least 24 years
  • Strong communication and client-handling capability.

  • Proven ability to own and grow a portfolio.

  • Strong service delivery mindset.

  • Team orientation with the ability to work across internal stakeholders.

  • Result-oriented and focused, with cross-selling ability.

  • Ability to act as a financial advisor to high net worth customers.
