Job Description
New Business Development and Sourcing.
Lead and manage the merchandising team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
Communication with buyers, factory people, other related departments/sections of the company.
Able to perform products costing product and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with company goals to drive growth and profitability.
Collaborate with the design and production teams to develop products that meet market demands and align with brand identity.
Follow the process & procedures of buyers.
Overseeing the update on production status, sampling, lab dips information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyer.
Monitoring the status of approval/ per-production/delivery.
Advice factory / production / quality team on fabric, production, quality etc related technical issues as efficient/experienced troubleshooter.
Proper execution of orders according to the planned 'Time and Action Plan' on a regular basis to ensure shipment of the right quality and quantity on time.
Frequent travel experience and ability to work directly with retailers or importers.
Strong Supply Chain for Sourcing.
Experience
- 12 to 15 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Multinational Companies, Garments, Buying House
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
