Japanese Language Interpreter/ Translator

MK Apparels Ltd., a leading Japanese-owned woven garments manufacturing company in Bangladesh, is seeking qualified and dynamic Japanese Language Interpreter/Translator to support communication between Japanese management and local employees, ensuring smooth business operations and effective cross-cultural collaboration.

Post: Japanese Language Interpreter/ Translator (Male/ Female) for Japanese Woven Garments Factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret verbal communications between Japanese expatriates and Bangladeshi employees during meetings, production discussions, training sessions, and daily operations.
• Translate documents, reports, emails, manuals, policies, and other business correspondence from Japanese to English/Bengali and vice versa.
• Facilitate effective communication between Japanese management and various departments, including Production, Merchandising, Quality, HR, Compliance, and Administration.
• Assist Japanese executives during factory visits, audits, customer meetings, and official events.
• Prepare and maintain accurate translation records and meeting minutes.
• Support coordination of projects and follow up on action items communicated by Japanese management.
• Provide cultural and language support to enhance workplace understanding and collaboration.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Job Location: Kumkumary, Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka.

• 2 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

• Bachelor/Honors

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Proficiency in Japanese language JLPT N3 Passed in Japanese Language.

• Age At most 40 years

• Excellent in Translating / Speaking Japanese to English/Bangla and English/Bangla to Japanese.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Japanese Interpreter/Translator, preferably in the garments, textile, manufacturing sector.

• As per company rules.
