IE Executive (Cutting & Garments Finishing)

Cutting-IE Job Description:

• Conduct time and motion studies for cutting operations.

• Prepare and maintain Standard Minute Values (SMV) for cutting processes.

• Monitor cutting productivity, efficiency, and utilization.

• Analyze marker efficiency, fabric consumption, and cutting performance.

• Ensure optimal manpower allocation and machine utilization.

• Identify bottlenecks and implement productivity improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate with Planning, Production, CAD, and Quality teams to achieve cutting targets.

Finishing-IE Job Description:

·  Conduct time and motion studies in finishing operations.

·  Establish and maintain standard minute values (SMV) for finishing processes.

·  Analyze workflow and recommend improvements to increase productivity.

·  Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly finishing performance.

·  Prepare manpower planning and capacity analysis for finishing sections.

·  Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

·  Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and resources.

·  Track efficiency, productivity, and cost-saving initiatives.

·  Develop and maintain production-related reports, dashboards, and KPIs.

·  Coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning, and Maintenance departments.

·  Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Sewing Technician (IE):

·  Conduct time and motion studies for sewing operations.

·  Assist in establishing and maintaining Standard Minute Values (SMV) for garments and sewing processes.

·  Analyze sewing methods and recommend improvements to increase productivity and reduce non-value-added activities.

·  Monitor sewing line performance, productivity, and operator efficiency.

·  Identify bottlenecks and provide technical solutions to improve workflow.

·  Assist in machine selection, attachment utilization, and workstation setup for new styles.

·  Coordinate with Production, Technical, Quality, and Maintenance teams during style changes and pilot runs.

·  Monitor machine utilization and recommend process improvements.

·  Support capacity planning and production target achievement.

·  Prepare and maintain IE reports, efficiency analyses, and productivity dashboards.

·  Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.

·  Train operators and supervisors on best sewing methods and productivity improvement techniques.

• 3 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Industrial Engineering
• Shahjalal University of Science & Technology,Jahangirnagar University students will get preference

• Age 22 to 25 years
