LAB ATTENDANT

BRAC University is searching for a qualified Lab Attendant for the Laboratories in the School of Life Sciences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain Laboratory inventory

• Assist Lab Officer in managing administrative work

• Ensure laboratory cleaning. Demonstrates knowledge of cleaning agents and their intended use

• Ensure laboratory safety

• Help students during laboratory work

• Managing and processing laboratory discards

• Maintain laboratory assets and inventory log

• Report any technical issues to Lab Officer

• Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift

• HSC

• Minimum HSC in Science or equivalent with good academic records

• Age At least 22 years

• Experience in related laboratories is preferable

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Must be able to communicate with students and faculty appropriately
