Job Description
Job Location: Job Stateion will be in Chattorgram and frequent movement to Chattogram City area, Sitakund Upazilla is required)
Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) is an organization for sustainable development working in the greater Chattogram division including Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT) since 1985 (International Youth Year). YPSA is implementing a project titled “Climate Action At Local Level (CALL) project” at Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar. The project is supported by Solidar Suisse. YPSA invites applications from qualified female candidates for the following position:
Duration: 01 June 2026 to November 2026
Job Responsibilities:
Arrange Court Yard meeting with the parents of the child labour.
Organize field-based events in the child labour concentrated areas in chattogram city and Sitakund.
Coordinate the internal and external visitor’s team
Outreach activities in the child labour concentrated areas.
Organize child labour to invite them for the vocational trainings.
Ensuring the visit of the child labours in the counselling centers.
Maintain accurate external and internal databases, trackers, attendance records, photo archives, and audio-visual documentation.
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and donor-specific narrative reports.
Document case studies, human-interest stories, success stories, and key lessons learned for reporting and advocacy.
Coordinate closely with project team members to ensure consistency and accuracy of information regarding report preparation and documentation.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Advocacy to support effective project implementation
Experience
- At least 1 year
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency
Education
- Master of Social Science (MSS)
Preferable subjects like Media studies, Public Health, Communication or Journalism or relevant discipline.
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 23 years
- Only Female
At least 1 year experience in field-based activities in NGO will get priority.
Experienced in environmental protection, child labor elimination , Child Protection, livelihood development for marginalized, or climate change reliant related projects will be an advantage.
Additional Requirements:
Need to be Hard Working and Punctual.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including formatting reports, managing datasets and trackers, and developing clear and visually engaging presentations.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the project areas, including remote locations, to support field documentation, data collection, and verification activities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective coordination with team members, stakeholders, and community representatives.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in data management, documentation, and reporting, with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain consistency across outputs.
Compensation & Other Benefits
Monthly consolidated salary in BDT: 27,000/- (Initial)
