Bangladesh Studies Teacher (O-Level)

Chittagong Grammar School, Dhaka (CGSD) is seeking a highly experienced and passionate History Teacher (Bangladesh Studies -Senior level) who possesses strong subject expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to create engaging and academically rigorous learning experiences.

The ideal candidate must be seasoned in teaching History and Bangladesh Studies at the O Level standard, capable of developing effective lesson plans, worksheets, handouts, assessments, and differentiated learning materials that support student achievement and critical thinking. The candidate should demonstrate a deep understanding of historical concepts, contextual analysis, and inquiry-based teaching methodologies aligned with international curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Bangladesh Studies / History for O Level students.
• Prepare effective lesson plans, worksheets, handouts, and assessment materials.
• Deliver engaging, inquiry-based, and student-centered lessons.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain strong classroom management and academic standards.
• Maintain updated schemes of work, lesson plans, and academic records.
• Participate in staff meetings, academic planning sessions, training, workshops, and school events.
• Collaborate with colleagues and academic leadership to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.

• At least 3 years

• Bachelor of Arts (BA)
• Master of Arts (MA)
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
