Job Description

IPD Admission Management:

  • Handle all inpatient admission procedures, including registration, documentation, and bed allocation

  • Verify patient information, admission forms, identification, and payment details.

  • Coordinate with the ward in-charge, nursing, and bed management teams for seamless patient admission.

  • Provide admission guidance to patients and attendants regarding hospital policies, charges, and facilities.

IPD Billing Management:

  • Prepare, update, and verify IPD bills throughout the patient’s stay.

  • Ensure accurate entry of services, procedures, investigations, and medications into the billing system.

  • Inform patients/families about estimated expenses, daily billing updates, and financial requirements.

  • Process advance payments, refunds, deposit adjustments, and final bill preparation before discharge.

Customer Relations & Communication

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients regarding admission, billing, and service-related queries.

  • Maintain polite, professional, and empathetic communication with patients and their families.

  • Resolve issues related to admission delays, billing discrepancies, or patient concerns promptly.

Documentation & System Management

  • Maintain accurate patient records, forms, billing sheets, and financial documents.

  • Update patient data and billing entries in the ERP Hospital Management System (Arch Hospital Management Software).

  • Ensure secure handling of confidential patient financial and personal information.

Compliance & Quality Standards

  • Follow hospital policies, billing protocols, and admission guidelines.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-friendly admission and billing desk.

Experience

  • At least 1 year
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Diagnostic Centre, Clinic
  • Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
