Project Manager (Software Development)
Job Description
Job Purpose
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and successfully delivering projects within defined scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. The role ensures effective coordination between clients, development teams, and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and deliver software development projects from initiation to closure.
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain essential documents including project plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, UI/UX, DevOps, and business analysts.
Monitor project progress, manage dependencies, and address risks and issues proactively.
Ensure adherence to project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
Manage change requests and control project scope, cost, and timelines.
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to clients and senior management.
Ensure quality standards are met and deliverables align with client and business requirements.
Support project closure activities, including documentation, lessons learned, and handover.
Experience
- 3 to 7 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Software Company, IT Enabled Service
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

- Age 24 to 48 years
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall)
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, Trello, MS Project, ClickUp, etc.)
Experience
3–7 years of experience in managing software development projects
Hands-on experience working with development teams in a software development environment
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
On-time and within-budget project delivery
Client satisfaction and stakeholder feedback
Quality of project documentation and reporting
Risk and issue resolution effectiveness
Team utilization and productivity
Working Relationships
