Executive- Fabric Planning
Job Description
- Prepare a fabric requirement plan based on the buyer order, style, color, size ratio, GSM, and fabric composition.
- Calculate fabric consumption, wastage, process loss, and total fabric requirement.
- Prepare and monitor knitting, dyeing, finishing, and delivery plan.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing, Fabric Store, and Cutting departments.
- Follow up yarn booking, yarn availability, knitting program, dyeing batch plan, and finished fabric delivery.
- Monitor fabric status against order shipment plan and ensure timely fabric availability for cutting.
- Update daily fabric planning report and pending status.
- Identify fabric shortage, excess, delay, or process issue and inform the concerned team.
- Maintain order-wise fabric tracking from yarn issue to finished fabric delivery.
- Ensure proper planning to reduce production delay, excess fabric, and last-minute pressure.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
Additional Requirements
- Age 25 to 30 years
Strong hands-on experience with Fast React
Sound knowledge of knit garments production planning
Good analytical, reporting, and coordination skills
Leadership ability
