CAD Designer

Company Overview:

JEN Engineering Bangladesh Limited is a specialized, design-focused engineering company operating in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate 2D/3D CAD models and engineering drawings based on project specifications.
• Design and optimize solar PV systems for rooftops, carports, and ground-mounted installations.
• Develop PV layouts, including panel arrangements, inverter selection, cable routing, and system sizing.
• Prepare site plans, electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and installation drawings.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and electrical designs to ensure seamless project integration.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to support project execution and resolve design issues.
• Verify CNC toolpaths using simulation software to prevent machine collisions and machining defects.
• Work closely with workshop and production teams to troubleshoot machining and fabrication issues.
• Prepare permit drawings and technical documentation for utility companies and regulatory authorities.
• Review and optimize designs for quality, safety, constructability, and compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Ensure all engineering documentation is accurate, complete, and delivered within project deadlines.

• 5 to 6 years

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering
• Master of Science (MSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering
• Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology,Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology,Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology,Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology,North South University students will get preference

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in either Mechanical or Civil Engineering from a reputed university.

• Age 25 to 35 years

• Experience: Minimum 5 Years of solid experience in both CAD modeling (2D & 3D)
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in CAD software (e.g. BIM, Rebro CAD, Revit, AutoCAD, 3D Max).
• Familiarity with Japanese manufacturing quality standards is a major plus.
